Stop Offs are parting compounds designed to prevent flow of molten filler metal into areas where it is not needed. Stop off compounds are a suspension of a metal oxide in a solvent base. A variety of leading brand braze stop off compounds are available from VBC Group. These include WCL Green Stop-off™ and Morgan Stopyt™. Stop off compounds are available in paints and pastes, we also stock Green Stop-off™ Pens.
Stop off compounds should be selected according to the parent metals being brazed, the heating method and the form in which the product will be applied.
Instructions for Use: Stir or mix well before use. To prolong storage life, this product should be kept in a tightly sealed container away from any heat sources, in a cool area. Minimum shelf life of 24 months.
