Meta-Braze™ 286 is the eutectic composition for Ag-Cu-P and provides a low-melting, free-flowing alloy. The uses for this product are however limited.
Meta-Braze™ 284 foil is available from stock and is suitable for electrical engineering applications such as electric motors, switchgear. electrical contacts and lightening conductors.
The Meta-Braze™ silver / copper phosphorus product range provides a highly reliable solution for flux-less brazing in HVAC&R and electrical engineering applications. Brazing engineers have to be confident in the quality of the braze rod they are using every time they make a joint. This is particularly true for flux-less brazing of copper pipes and tubes for refrigeration, air-conditioning and medical gas pipework. Meta-Braze™ silver / copper phosphorus brazing alloys can be relied upon to flow consistently every time.
