Eliminate the need for use of a separate flux with flux cored Meta-Braze Advanced™ brazing rings. For the right applications they can provide the optimum amount of flux and reduce the need for lengthy washing stages to remove residues.
Flux cored or filled silver brazing alloys are designed to provide handling and quality benefits in mass production of brazed components.
The built-in flux means that there is no need for a separate flux to be applied to the components prior to heating. This eliminates the fluxing step as well as reducing handling and waste.
For flux cored or filled brazing rings, the added flux is released all around the joint opening durning heating to brazing temperature. This ensures the active flux is positioned where it is needed.
